Ashton Kutcher Involved In Violent Melee At Music Festival

April 29, 2013 06:03 AM by Lisa Princ

Ashton Kutcher may have broken Demi Moore’s heart, but he certainly doesn’t strike us as the violent type. However, the Punk’d star was involved in a melee this weekend that turned violent, sort of. Don’t worry though fans, he is fine, and it was not his fault!

Warning fans – you may want to think twice about asking Ashton Kutcher for an autograph, or even a handshake and a hello. Why? Well, last week, that is exactly what one fan did at the Stagecoach Music Festival (a Country music festival) in California, and she got more than she bargained for.

According to TMZ, a female fan approached Kutcher at the music festival attempting to shake his hand and say hello, and as he attempted to chat with her (which we would hope any star would do for their fans), a security guard stepped in and shoved both Kutcher and the fan. Talk about rude, huh?

Eyewitnesses claim that after the initial shove, Kutcher and the guard continued to shove one another violently, until Ashton’s friends pulled him away from the guard. Those watching insist that it was indeed the security guard that started the confrontation, not Kutcher. Kudos to Ashton Kutcher for standing up to the guard for his adoring fans!

So far, no comments have been leaked about the melee from either Ashton or his reps.

What do you think of Ashton Kutcher’s melee with the security guard? Was he correct to shove back and stand up for his fan who was also shoved? We know you have an opinion so sound off in the comments and let us hear it.

    First thought:
Well, you did a good job pulling me in to read your article by titling this push-a-thon a “violent melee”.

    Second thought:
Disappointed that it wasn’t a violent melee and that I got suckered in.

    Third and final thought:
How exactly was Mr. Kutcher chatting up this “fan” that a security guard felt it was necessary to push them apart??? Think about it!!!

That security guard should be fired. A security guard is there to protect the celebrity from a fan and since Kutcher took it on his own to talk to the fan, the security guard had no right to interfere especially when the celebrity is also being shoved by the one being paid to protect him.

@ Billie Jean Allen: Where did you get the idea in your pretty little head that the security guard was part of Mr. Kutcher’s security team. How do you know if Mr. Kutcher even had a security team with him at the country music festival? What color are the clouds in your world???

@ Maiky: fired for what? Making you read his article??

@ John: What are babbling on about??? What the F is a “low information voter”??? You’re weird.

I’m guessing this “writer” has a Word-of-the-Day desk calendar, and today’s word is “melee.”

Certainly does not sound like a “violent melee”…and I’ve seen quite a few. But can’t hold anything against Kutcher here. He got pushed, so he pushed back. That’s how Americans are supposed to be; we [historically] stick up for ourselves when we’ve been wronged. The reason bullying has become epidemic is due to the fact that milquetoast parents refuse to teach their children to stick up for themselves. Remember, you’re never too young or old to learn how to defend yourself. This is America, where it’s expected of us to stand up for what we believe is right, or to defend against being wronged. As stupid as it sounds, this extends to irrelevant shoving matches with security guards.

Melee? Come on, what idiot would use that word to describe this minor tussle?

Sounds like the security guard was on a power trip. Many are. Nobody will get away with that next time when Ashton has his KUTCHELLA festival

JefflnMpls , It is you who need to think about it . Actors always like to get in shoving matches with security guards that protect them. NOT.

The security guard was out of place doing what he did. Since she obviously was accepted by Justin why the tussle. Even if she was harassing Justin, the security guard should have grabbed her only. He got into it with Kutcher because Justin wanted to see her. Just another case of a security guard power trip.
