Justin Bieber Heads For Capetown In Aftermath Of Dubai Attack

May 06, 2013 04:15 PM by Stephanie Gustafson

It’s been a tough week for the Biebs, and right after things were going so well! Shortly after receiving plenty of praise for performing a Muslim prayer at one of his concerts, the formerĀ X Factor mentor was attacked during a later performance in Dubai. Now he’s headed to South Africa in hopes that things will be a bit calmer there!

It’s off to South Africa for Justin Bieber, who is currently in the middle of a huge world tour. Things have been up and down for the entirety of this latest concert season, with the Biebs constantly receiving criticism from annoyed fans…and then receiving praise from other fans who continue to love anything and everything about the teen idol. The fans tried to reach out and reassure their favorite pop star after he was attacked on stage in Dubai. Fortunately, the situation was diffused quickly with the help of a security team. But it is just one more example of how celebrities’ lives are not always perfect — after all, dealing with these types of security threats can’t be all that much fun!

In the midst of all this turmoil, Justin is trying to stay positive. Despite all that went down in Dubai, he shared his excitement for the next big concert with his Twitter followers, announcing, “Capetown next #stadiumstatus.” This was later followed with a short tweet explaining that the Biebs was “trying to get to South Africa.”

Fans in South Africa are more than excited to see Justin Bieber perform live, and, hopefully for their sake, there will be none of the drama that has gone down at other concerts in the past few months. Any more issues and J Biebs might have a full-on Belieber riot on his hands!

Here people are more than excited! At my school everybody pretends they hate JB but they’re all secretly going to his concert. My sister has golden circle tickets for the one in Joburg and people from school won’t stop singing his songs! He should have come in summer so he could feel the real African heat, its starting to get colder here.
