Back in March, Rob Kardashian was accused of stealing a photographer’s SD card, and then she filed a lawsuit against the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star. Yesterday, we learned that the Dancing With The Stars alum was charged with theft and battery, but now, Kardashian is pleading not guilty!
Rob Kardashian was recently charged with theft and battery after his run in with photographer, Andra Viak back in March. Viak filed the suit against Kardashian, claiming that he struck her and took her camera’s SD card after learning that she snapped some shirtless photos of him. Viak also claimed that she suffered from emotional distress from the incident, and that she had somewhere around $30,000.00 worth of celebrity photos on that SD card.
However, Rob Kardashian is now pleading not guilty to the charges. According to E! Online, Kardashian and his attorney appeared in court yesterday, where Kardashian pleaded not guilty. The judge ruled that Rob would remain free on his own recognizance, despite the prosecutor’s objections. Rob Kardashian is scheduled for his next court date on May 29, for pre-trial.
Ironically, when Viak filed the robbery report when the incident first took place, there was no mention of any “assault,” or being struck by Kardashian. Now, all of a sudden, he struck her? Could she be trying to cash in?
What do you think about the incident with Rob Kardashian? Should he have been charged? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it so sound off in the comments section and tell us what you think.
