Last night, Amanda Bynes made a huge spectacle during an NYC arrest. The Twitterverse is going crazy with the news, but this time, Jenny McCarthy is staying away from the drama. The Love In The Wild host says she learned her lesson the last time she repeated a bit of Amanda Bynes gossip online.
We could see Amanda Bynes’ eventual arrest coming a long time ago. The celeb has become increasingly erratic, constantly attacking anyone and everyone for supposedly posting ‘fake’ photos of her in hopes of making her look bad. Jenny McCarthy was certainly not immune from the vitriol, especially after she made the mistake of repeating news of an earlier altercation with the police and commenting, “Enough of this circus. [Amanda] needs help.”
After Jenny tweeted her thoughts on Amanda’s situation, the troubled celeb responded in an insult-laced rant, accusing Jenny of being old and ugly. Clearly surprised at the over-the-top reply, Jenny apologized for causing offense and explained that she just wanted to look out for Amanda. The two then appeared to make their peace, with Amanda backpedaling on her ‘ugly’ accusations and promising to delete the nasty exchange from her Twitter page.
But when asked about the feud at last weekend’ Billboard Music Awards, Jenny explained that she had no intention of getting on Amanda’s bad side in the future. “All I know is we’ve made peace and you do not mess with Amanda—amen!”
Of course, messing with Amanda Bynes may be a little more difficult now, seeing as the star has been arrested and charged with reckless endangerment. What’s more, she was taken in for a psychiatric evaluation. In light of these developments, it’ll be interesting to see if Jenny McCarthy keeps her word…or succumbs to the overwhelming temptation to participate in the juicy Amanda Bynes gossip.
