Cassadee Pope Excited For Return To The Voice

May 30, 2013 12:45 PM by Stephanie Gustafson

There may have been some major changes to The Voice (including two new judges) since Cassadee Pope was crowned season three champ, but the show retains the same charm that has made it so popular in the past. How has Cassadee been preparing for her big return to reality television?

While we’re down to the top six duking it out on The Voice, there’s plenty more to expect from next week’s episodes. For example, season three sweetheart Cassadee Pop will be making a much-anticipated return! And she’ll be debuting her single Wasting All These Tears, a track that will be available on iTunes next week as well.

Cassadee says that, although performing the single for the first time is a bit nerve-wracking, it’s still nothing compared to competing. “I’m just going and showing people what I’ve been up to the past few months, whereas before if I messed up, I could go home.” That being said, Cassadee still takes the performance seriously and acknowledges, “It’s live television and you can’t fix that.” As such, she plans to do the absolute best she can in order to show viewers that she did, in fact, deserve to win season three of The Voice.

Cassadee is definitely excited to premiere her new single, but there’s one thing she’s anticipating even more than the big performance: the cast and crew that make the show worthwhile! “It was the people behind the scenes that I loved, like the producers, the PAs, hair and makeup, wardrobe, camera crew. They made it even more fun than it was already.”

No, actually I am not looking forward to it. The Voice already has too much country on it, and I officially stopped watching last week. I also don’t want to hear a “singer” who just went country to sell records. She gave up her identity, and I don’t respect that!!!!
