Tebow Rumors Continue: Where Is The NFL Star Headed?

June 02, 2013 06:14 AM by Lisa Princ

Tim Tebow seems to be the most talked about NFL star these days, or former star that is. After being let go from The New York Jets back in April, fans are still wondering where the Celebrity Apprentice and The Biggest Loser guest star is headed. What does Tebow’s future hold?

The last time we watched Tim Tebow, he was helping out his friend, Trace Adkins on Celebrity Apprentice, but is there a future for him in the NFL? Not according to ESPN! In fact, in the new issue of ESPN Magazine, Dave Fleming says that Tebow’s NFL career is just about over, even deeming Tim the “Kim Kardashian” of the NFL, or in other words, “overexposed, divisive…and more popular than ever.” But despite his popularity, Fleming is certain that no NFL team will touch him.

Fleming also wrote: “Members of his (Tebow’s) camp privately admitted that his NFL run is probably over,” but other sources claim that is not true, and Tebow is still very interested in the NFL. NFL.com reportedly caught up with Bob Tebow, Tim’s father, who claims that Tim is not giving up on the NFL at all.

Meanwhile, Tim Tebow was given numerous offers by teams outside of the NFL, including: The Omaha Beef (an indoor team), as well as The Orlando Predators and The Philadelphia Soul (both Arena football teams). Jacksonville Jaguars’ fans also started a petition to get Tebow hired on their team, but failed to get the needed signatures. The Miami Dolphins also recently debunked the rumors that they were looking to take Tebow.

Where, oh where will Tim Tebow go? What team would you like to see Tim Tebow go to? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it! Comment and share your thoughts with us below!

Where is the NFL Star headed?
He is not an NFL Star and never has been.
    Who dreams up this stuff?

I just think in today’s society, we ( The Media ) seem to always send more time beating up the good and covering the bad. No matter his Football skills, Tim Tebow is a great human being. The legacy of a person is not about their Sport Skills nor their passing ability. The legacy of a man will be decided by the person(s) you inspire and the mark you will leave on other(s) lives. It would be nice to see the media spend more time on the Great Tangibles if you will that Tim Tebow carries in his daily life. I would love to see more Pro Athletes have the same attitude and personal morals as Tim Tebow carries.

I would like to see Tebow go to the Cleveland Browns. They have had nothing but losers since they came back as an expansion team.Tebow could at least inject some excitement for a city that has no team to get excited about. His ability to run and make things happen, would be a plus to a city that loves their Browns,no matter how awful they are!

He needs to take the chance at either the CFL or the AFL take the same route as Doug flute Warren Moon and Kurt warner took. Show the NFL that you can win at these minor levels and then come back in a few years when they know that you are ready.

Many NFL so-called pundits are in love with stats; as sexy as they may be, stats, like the 300 yd passing game, is over-rated. A costly interception at the wrong time can cause a team to lose…well…beautifully. GIVE ME AN UGLY WIN, ANY GIVEN SUNDAY, than a very pretty, very sexy loss. Oh, yeah, by the way, I hated the NFL prior to Tebow being drafted. I used to spend several hundred a year on tickets. But I soon felt the NFL got too damn soft. I won’t watch another game or spend another dime on a ticket on an NFL without Tim Tebow. And, many of my friends say the same. Good riddance NFL.

In my opinion Tim Tebow has been a victimn of professional jealously. He has proven himself as a team player under adverse situations and led his team to within a whisper of a championship, then was traded. Again Tebow proved he could “fill in” for a distracted quarterback from an Eastern team, but was tucked away on the bench when his performance was far superior. Why not offer Tim Tebow, an outstanding quaterback, ultra positive person, Christian individual, a real challenge. Sign Tebow to a five year contract with the Chicago Bears and give the team an overdue burst of “love of the game”.

I think if pro football built an exhibition team, similar to the Harlem Globetrotters, he would thrive at the QB position. They could play teams made up of retired NFL players that still have to work because they didn’t know how to save or invest. Just sayin!

CFL isn’t MINOR league it was found before the NFL and furthermore in the CFL he would have to throw and throw it a lot. He needs to stop being prideful and switch positions

Maybe he could pray his way too a new team.

The browns should get Tebow because the browns aren’t looking too great in the future and Tebow is a winner! If the browns want to win, they should get Tebow because he just wins. Also, he couldn’t make the browns worse. Tebow should play with the browns!

Tim has been a winner everywhere he has played, that they let him contribute. Florida and even at Denver. There are teams missing out on a quality player with a great work ethic and quality person.

I think Tebow got it raw!!! Tebow fan’s stand behind him which is great but also a curse for him. When in Denver he was behind a half tail Qb Yet when he was allowed to play he did his best. Sure his throwing was not the greatest! Reading the D was not his best ability! He did show some running skills!!! One thing you would always hear from Tebow was a nice thank you to his team mates for helping him out on and off the field. His work ethic was never in question. As someone who feels Tebow could help ANY TEAM IN THE NFL maybe not as a QB but as a great player and even used as a back up Qb in some cases. Let’s not forget that a scout saw something in the man to bring him in to the NFL. Yes I think Tebow is a great guy and his fans love him as well as his haters hate him but every player has the same fans and haters only thing is that Tebow fans seem to be more out spoken. I know God will take care of him and his for he is a blessing to people of faith.

Did Tim forget how to play football?? When he was voted the “Best” college player while at Florida…..was that a mistake?? Does he not work hard enough?? I know, it must be his attitude!! Maybe he is too positive for pro football. Make no mistake, Tim Tebow can play football and he wins! Give the guy some playing time as QB and watch him develop. He has taken a lot of heat for his beliefs but that’s an asset. Tim just might “pray” his way onto a team….you see, God does take care of his children!! Hang in there Tim!!!

I think Tebow should play in Dallas so GOD can look though the open dome and see Americas team with a truly faithful servant as leader and quarter back. Romo has “STATS” but no play off ability. At least Tebow did get his team to the second round in his first attempt. If football doesn’t work out its only because HE has greater plans for you, Tim. Stay on the narrow path, you’ll make it!

Rumors are Tebow will help launch the A11FL, they obviously want Tim, and Tim would be a mega mega star in that A11FL.

    Go Tim!

Tebow needs to go knock on STEELERS door !!!!! They do need a very good back up QB . Especially the way Big Ben gets hurt lately. I think it would be a good move on both sides
