Bristol Palin And Joan Rivers To Swap Lives On Celebrity Wife Swap

June 07, 2013 07:12 AM by Lisa Princ

That’s right folks, the most hated controversial Dancing with the Stars alum, Bristol Palin, is coming back to your screen for another round of reality television. While we are not quite sure what ABC’s obsession with Palin is, it was announced that she will be swapping lives with none other than Celebrity Apprentice alum Joan Rivers on the upcoming season of Celebrity Wife Swap. Oh, this is going to be fun!

Ugh, just when we thought that we’d seen the last of the Palin family on reality television, it turns out that is far from true. Bristol Palin angered many viewers during her two-time run on Dancing With The Stars, and apparently, ABC loves her because she will be appearing on an episode of Celebrity Wife Swap, which premieres later this month.

And if that was not enough to damper your mood and make you want to tune of the normally entertaining show, Bristol will be swapping lives with the plastic queen herself, Joan Rivers. Hmm, maybe they will also share plastic surgery secrets?

According to ABC, on the episode, Melissa Rivers, who joins Joan on her trip to Alaska, will struggle with Bristol’s son, Tripp. “Melissa finds it a challenge to deal with Tripp’s boyish exuberance,” the site boasts, adding that Melissa feels Tripp needs more structure in his life. On the other end, Bristol Palin is shocked that Melissa’s son Cooper has his day planned out down to the minute.

Sounds like a blast! The new season of Celebrity Wife Swap premieres on June 23 on ABC.

I’m not a Bristol hater. She’s a young girl and shouldn’t be hated by anyone. Looking forward to her changing places with Joan. I don’t watch celebrity wife swap, but I will watch that episode!

The authors just can’t help letting their politics leak into everything, like a shart. Can’t you just report the “entertainment news” without the stench of your personal agenda? Maybe you need to change your figurative diet.

“Ugh, just when we thought that we’d seen the last of the Palin family” I couldn’t agree more. They are a no talented family that has been shoved down our throats. They remind me of the Kardashian family. Even though I love Joan, I won’t watch anything that has a Kardashian or Palin in it.

Are any of them “Wives”???? Just change the program to LIFE swap if you’ve run out of celebrity wives.

This just goes to show how nasty our country is. There is cilvility in international sports, where certain counties are abusive to human rights. I find usually these ugly americans to be of liberal mind set. It is gotten rotten here in the great USA.

    You haters….well…..just move along!

Bristol is a lovely young woman like millions of single young women trying w/ love & often tribulation to raise their sons…why the hate…political, maybe. Is reality TV an exclusive domain for left-leaning actresses? More than half of the viewers are conservative so they are attracted to Bristol & give ABC & this blog more views.

You know that the mere mention of the popular Palin name gets your site more hits & views, you clearly benefit from the Palin name, too…otherwise, ignore the Palins if you dislike them so much. With the valuable Palin name, ABC gets good ratings & Rivers gets more attention to her E fashhion show.

Your Palin hating is counterproductive. I clicked on this story only because it was Palin related. Plus, I love Joan. Stop being political and just focus on the entertainment. Remember the Dixie Chicks? Probably not. They destroyed themselves when they became political. Just shut up and sing! Let the audience decide.

Bristol was controversial on DWTS? She came in third. She was a fan favorite not a dancer.

In addition, I’ve been watching Joan and Melissa’s reality show and Melissa is just a drag. A whining, negative, uncheery mess. Love Joan. Melissa needs to lighten up. Did you see her on Celebrity apprentice? What a baby. Wahhhh! Mommy, the mean girls were mean to me at the lunch table. I think I’ll be team Bristol on this one. Why is Melissa a celebrity? Only because of her mother. Why don’t you pick on her like you do Bristol? I think I know. Bristol comes from a family that is republican instead of democrat.

Wife swap…Neither has a husband…And, it’s not like they are going to do any housework, cooking (forgot the famous, moose-stew. Therefore, what is this really about…”entertainment?” Whatever…neither has it…reality going wild…

I thought the show was very, very dull. Joan and Bristol have different lives entirely. Bristol is rather dull for being so young. She’s absolutely beautiful as her sister is too but that is all. I hope the best for her. Joan and Melissa are so fun and should have been paired with someone else. If Bristol doesn’t want to follow in her mom’s footsteps and be questioned, then stay out of the limelight – no Dancing With The Stars and No Wife Swap.
