Breaking Amish Brave New World To Air Two ‘Shunning Truth’ Specials

July 03, 2013 07:41 AM by Lisa Princ

Breaking Amish‘s second season, also known as Brave New World may have come to a close this week, but the drama is far from over! In fact, the next two weeks will be filled with more fun as the stars of the show are going to sit down and hash it out in a ‘shunning truth’ special. Read on to find out what you can expect from the special episodes!

That’s right, the clan of Breaking Amish Brave New World will be back the next two weekends to hash it out in a two part special. The Shunning Truth is set to air Sunday, July 7, at 10 p.m. on TLC, with part two airing Sunday, July 14, and according to a sneak peek from E! Online, it will be jam packed with drama. The site goes on to say that Kate, who recently stripped down for Maxim, will respond to rumors that she is a lesbian.

What else can we expect? Well, the drama for Abe and Rebecca is far from over, as both Abe’s mother and brother will appear on the special. Rumor has it that things become very intense and heated, to the point that Abe tells his mother: “I said get out of my life,” and then he and Rebecca storm off the set.

And it doesn’t stop there! When the love triangle between Jeremiah, Kym and Sabrina is addressed, Sabrina reportedly gets annoyed and accuses the host of prying. Sounds like a dramatically good time to us!

Anyone who thinks this show has anything to do with real Amish people is being fooled. It’s difficult for anyone to break so completely away after 17 years of a strict upbringing. Forget NYC, they would never be happy-go-lucky there as a first place away from Lancaster.

I use to think this show was somewhat real until this season when Abe’s Mom and sister showed up. Now I think this show is fake. The TRUE Amish community wouldn’t be so quick to leave their husband behind. Then on these shunning truth things they are so rude to the host and walk off the stage. LAME
