Dianna Agron: ‘My Heart Goes Out’ To Lea Michele

July 18, 2013 10:15 AM by Stephanie Gustafson

Lea Michele continues to grieve following the sudden death of Glee actor and Glee Project mentor Cory Monteith. If there’s a silver lining, it’s that Lea has full support from fellow Glee stars and mentors, including former Finn Hudson love interest Dianna Agron.

Fans, friends and family members are all reaching out to Lea Michele as she mourns the loss of her boyfriend. The Twitter hashtag #PrayForLea has consistently been trending ever since news of Cory’s death was first released. Now that the cause of death has been identified as a mix of heroin and alcohol, those prayers are continuing in full force.

Joining in on the support is Dianna Agron, the actress best known for playing Finn’s love interest Quinn Fabray. In real life, the two did not date (leaving the costar relationship to Cory and Lea) but were very close friends. In a recent statement, Dianna shared some of her fondest memories of Cory — all memories that provide further proof of what a kindhearted person the actor was. The actress refers to Cory as “one of the most generous and kind people that I have ever met,” adding that he was “loving to not only me, but my family.”

Although this is a difficult time for Dianna Agron, the actress realizes that it is Lea Michele most in need of support at the moment. She says that her “heart goes out to [Cory's] family, to Lea, to everyone that is struggling with the loss of our friend.” And she promises that she’ll always carry a piece of the actor and his loving spirit in her heart.

Our hearts also go out to Cory’s loved ones as they continue to mourn for a great guy.
