Amanda Bynes has been quite the celebrity train wreck as of late, but woe unto he or she who expresses any concern. Jenny McCarthy already received a Twitter attack for speculating on Amanda’s condition…but that was not enough to stop Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kris Jenner from expressing her fears for the celeb’s well-being.
There’s so many topics newbie talk show host Kris Jenner could have chosen for her recent chat with Ryan Seacrest, and yet, she felt it necessary to gossip over the notoriously troubled Amanda Bynes. This clip was later cut from the talk show, but Us Weekly was able to to retrieve it for curious Kris Jenner fans.
In this portion of the interview, Kris mentions that her daughter Kim has long been a fan of Amanda Bynes, even in the midst of all negative publicity resulting from multiple arrests and Twitter meltdowns. “Kim loves Amanda. She’s obsessed with her and really wants her to be fabulous and get well.”
According to Kris, the key to getting well is surrounding yourself with the right people. “This is something that, for me as a mom, makes me very sad, but happy that she’s getting perhaps the help that she needs for one reason or another.” The reality mom went on to compare Amanda Bynes’ struggles with those of Britney Spears, theorizing that, if Britney was able to make a comeback, Amanda could easily do the same. “You look at what Britney was able to do and to overcome with the people that got to be around her…and she’s in a great place right now.”
