Despite the overwhelming amount of evidence suggesting otherwise, Teresa Giudice continues to insist that she is not guilty of fraud. What’s more, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star believes that the media has given her a bad break.
Typically, when a reality star is hauled into court, it causes a buzz in the tabloids. This is particularly the case when said celebrity is brought in for 39 well-documented counts of fraud. So it should come as no surprise that Teresa Giudice’s face has been plastered all over the front pages of the tabloids and on countless websites. But Teresa thinks that readers should think twice before believing what they see in the news. She feels that her portrayal in the media is less than accurate.
In a recent Twitter post, Teresa posted an observation about her current presence in the headlines. “It’s funny that all these magazines are writing about me but I’m never quoted.” Fans (yes, she still has some of those) were quick to respond with sympathy, telling Teresa that they only believe her direct quotes and social media posts.
This certainly is not the first time one of the Giudices has expressed his or her qualms with the media. A recent example of this animosity occurred a few weeks ago, when the reality star and her husband Joe Giudice were released on a $500,000 bond. The two encountered a gathering of reporters and, instead of ducking their heads and simply exiting the fray, Joe proceeded to slap someone’s camera out of the way. Joe’s father also joined in the mess, shouting obscenities and telling reporters to “go to hell.”
What do you think of Teresa’s latest Twitter complaint? Does she make a good point? Leave a comment and let us know!
