A&E’s Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson may be popular among television viewers, but he appears to be less so with voters in Louisiana. A recent poll conducted by Conservative Intelligence Briefing shows that 41 percent of respondents would prefer that Willie stay out of all future congressional races.
Would you like to see Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson in a congressional bid? If you’re from the state of Louisiana, the answer is probably a no. At least, that was the answer offered by an impressive 41 percent of those who responded to a poll from the Conservative Intelligence Briefing. Only 26 percent of voters were definitely in favor of Willie’s potential candidacy, while an additional 33 percent said they were unsure.
More bad news for Willie arrived in a follow-up question asking which Duck Dynasty cast member respondents liked the best. Si was able to snag a narrow victory, coming in with 25 percent of the votes. Willie did manage to capture a close second place with 24 percent. And third place went to Phil, trailing behind at 21 percent. Miss Kay and Jase rounded out the poll at 17 and 13 percent, showing that they are definitely not the favorites among Louisiana voters.
Fortunately, it doesn’t really matter whether anyone wants Willie make a stab at a political career, for the reality star is much more interested in continuing on his current path. During a recent appearance on Fox’s The Five, Wille said that the reports of his congressional run were news to him, adding that he was already, “kind of busy right now…I got a lot going on.”
