Snooki and JWoww always get their way, as is proven once again by the fallout from their latest round of drama. A judge has ruled that the Jersey Shore stars can film their spin-off show in Pelican Island, despite complaints from other residents.
We’d like to send our sympathy to the residents of Pelican Island — they will soon to be forced to extend a welcome to the new kids on the block, otherwise known as Snooki and JWoww. This would be an awkward enough encounter already, but it’s made all the worse by the fact that they’ve already made it abundantly clear that they don’t want the reality stars around.
The drama all began in July, when residents of Pelican Island tried to ban Snooki and JWoww from setting up shop in their idyllic town. Their attorney explained that, the main source of annoyance among these residents was the fact that the reality stars, would be “taking this house and…converting it into a commercial use.”
But as always, it looks like the Jersey Shore stars are about to get their way. The judge overseeing the case has ruled in their favor, and while Snooki has yet to directly comment on her victory, she did tell her Twitter followers, “There will always be negative assholes judging you, but I appreciate all of you positive people more than ever!!”
Do you think the judge made the right decision? Or do the residents of Pelican Island have reason to be upset about having Snooki and JWoww filming on their home turf? Feel free to share your opinion in the comments section below!
