Christina Milian is a busy lady these days! Not only does the singer currently hold the esteemed position of social media commentator on The Voice, she also recently joined the season 17 cast for Dancing With The Stars. Talk about exciting!
There’s been plenty of rumors in the past weeks, but now it’s official: Christina Milian will be a contestant in the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars. The singer’s spot on the cast list was announced on this morning’s episode of Good Morning America, along with the names of eleven additional contestants.
Following the big reveal, Christina took to Twitter to share a little insight with her excited followers: “Well.. Here we are! Ready for this crazy adventure. I’m so ready to try something new and I’m great!” She also posed for a picture with Mark Ballas, her dance partner and, as she claims, “Instructor.. Therapist.. New BFF.”
Dancing With The Stars is certainly not Christina’s only big project at the moment. Recently, the musician has kept busy as the official social media commentator for The Voice. But given the shows’ conflicting schedules, there’s a good chance Christina will be forced to take a break from The Voice and shift her focus to Dancing With The Stars. No word yet as to her plans for this fall, but given the official DWTS reveal, we assume The Voice would be the first show to go by the wayside.
Was Christina Milian a good choice for the Dancing With The Stars cast? Will you be cheering for her come the season 17 premiere? Leave a comment and let us know what you think!
