Often, couples brought together by such reality shows as The Bachelorette will have one standout moment when, later looking back, it becomes apparent that they were the real deal. For Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried, that moment occurred during the group dodgeball date. So what better occasion to recreate now that the couple is official?
If you can recall back to earlier in the latest season of The Bachelorette, you may remember that it was during episode three that Chris Siegfried earned a coveted rose following an intense game of dodgeball. This also happens to be the episode in which Brooks Forrester injured his finger. Maybe not foreshadowing, exactly, but it is an interesting detail in retrospect.
Now, Brooks is off on his own and it is Chris who continues to enjoy dodgeball dates with Des. The former Bachelorette posted a video of the occasion to Instagram, along with the following caption: “Dodging balls!!! @chrisrsiegfried #dodgeballdetermination #lookinggoodbabe.”
Chris also posted the link to the video, adding, “Thanks babe for taking these yesterday! @deshartsock DODGEBALL!!!! League.” Obviously, based on this posted, we can assume that Chris is currently taking part in a dodgeball league. No surprises there, as he’s long made it clear that he’s an athletic guy.
We’re glad to see that Des and Chris are still enjoying each others’ company. Maybe they will defeat those awful Bachelorette odds and remain a couple long into the future! Do you think they have what it takes to stand the test of time? Sound off in the comments section below!
