Heidi Klum And Tim Gunn Win Big At 2013 Creative Arts Emmy Awards

September 16, 2013 04:00 PM by Stephanie Gustafson

As if Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn didn’t already possess super long lists of accomplishments — now the two have replaced Jeff Probst and Tom Bergeron as the ultimate reality show hosts. At last night’s Creative Arts Emmys, the Project Runway duo received the trophy for outstanding reality show host. Talk about an upset!

Wait, what? Jeff Probst failed to snag the award for best reality host at the Emmys for the second year in a row? What has this world come to?!

It’s true — after a long streak that was finally broken last year by Tom Bergeron, Jeff Probst has not only failed to win the 2013 Emmy for reality show host, he didn’t even make the list of nominees. In his place were such favorites as last year’s winner Tom Bergeron, plus Ryan Seacrest, Cate Deeley, Ryan Seacrest and even Betty White. Ultimately, the prize went to Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum, a pair we feel is more than deserving of an Emmy.

The win must have been satisfying, but without it, Heidi would still have been happy to spend her Sunday evening with Tim. After posing on the red carpet for some time, the model snapped a shot with her best bud and uploaded it to Twitter, along with the following caption: “Tim Gunn I LOVE YOU.” Tim also enjoyed himself, later telling fans that the victory had left him in a “state of apoplexy.”

Do you think Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn deserved to be crowned best reality hosts? Were you disappointed to see Jeff Probst left off the list of nominees? Feel free to share your opinion in the comments section below!
