Bill Nye admitted prior to the new season of Dancing With The Stars, that he definitely wanted a shot at the mirror ball trophy, so needless to say fans were disappointed by his poor first performance. But no one was more disappointed than the Science Guy himself, who is already planning his comeback for next week!
Bill Nye definitely disappointed fans on Monday’s premiere of Dancing With The Stars, when he earned a score of 14 from the judges, and was just plain painful to watch on the dance floor. However, no one is more disappointed than Nye himself, who admitted that to People Magazine after the show. “I’m disappointed in myself and just, things. But what are you going to do,” Nye explained, adding that he does not think the judges were harsh on him (as some may think), but instead they got it right.
However, Nye is still hopeful that he can make a comeback for his second routine and is working hard to do better. “Watch out, next week, paso doble. People don’t regret what they do. They regret what they don’t do. I can’t let Tyne down,” Nye said, adding that it is the “coolest thing ever” to be a fan favorite this season. But will being a fan favorite be enough to keep him on the show? He’s going to have to seriously work on his moves as well.
