Things seem to be looking up for former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dr. Paul Nassif. First he reaches a settlement in his contentious divorce from Adrienne Maloof and now it looks like the renowned plastic surgeon is returning to reality TV in a yet-to-be-titled show.
Rather than dealing with the drama that was the ladies of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Dr. Nassif — who specializes in facial plastic surgery — will help regular people who have had botched plastic surgery procedures in his new show. No stranger to reality TV, he was also a regular on E!’s Dr. 90210.
Paul and Adrienne were prominent members of the cast for the first three seasons of the Beverly Hills edition of the Bravo franchise. The couple married in 2002, then separated over the summer of 2012. Although they reportedly had a prenup — Adrienne is worth a reported $300 million — the split soon turned contentious over co-parenting their three children, Gavin, 10, and twins Colin and Christian, 7 and rumors that both of them have been violent towards each other.
The former spouses both found love with much younger mates after the separation. While Adrienne Maloof was canoodling all over town with Sean Stewart, 50-year-old Paul Nassif confirmed to multiple sources that he had begun dating 27-year-old former Miss Nevada USA Helen Salas.
Since the former couple have both seemed to have moved on, it makes sense that they would finally reach a settlement. Last month they released a joint statement saying, “We recently reached an agreement on all outstanding issues related to our divorce settlement and all pending litigation. Our first priority is our children’s well-being and happiness. As their parents and advocates, that is our goal. Our children are our most important treasures and need to be treated with the respect and privacy they deserve.”
