Gordon Ramsay Curbs His Potty Mouth On MasterChef Junior

September 28, 2013 06:38 AM by Lisa Princ

Admit it, it is definitely humorous watching Gordon Ramsay scream profanities at hopeful chefs who attempt to serve him raw chicken, but normally those hopefuls are adults, who should know better. So, when it was announced that Ramsay would be airing a children’s version of the hit show, MasterChef, we were all left wondering how he would contain his potty mouth. As it turns out, Gordon Ramsay has been pretty good curbing his mouth with the kids, and believe it or not, some of them don’t even think he is scary!

MasterChef Junior kicked off yesterday, and believe it or not, Gordon Ramsay seems to have curbed his potty mouth in front of the 8-12 year-old group of contestants. Speaking to the Television Critics Association recently about the new show, Ramsay claimed that he did not swear at all in two months of taping. However, one of the child competitors, 9-year-old Sarah, quickly corrected Ramsay, revealing that he did actually slip up twice and rant off some profanity.

But it wasn’t the children that got Ramsay fired up. “I think he got kind of frustrated with some of the waiters, but it wasn’t towards us, it was never towards us,” another one of the children told the press. But don’t get his lack of cursing confused with sugar-coating anything, because we all know that Gordon Ramsay does not do that. “I think being firm and fair is something that we cannot be short of in any country, and we need to be brutally honest,” Ramsay continued.

Meanwhile, some of the other kids revealed that Gordon Ramsay is not the scary judge….instead, that title belongs to Joe Bastianich! Hmm, we can’t imagine why!

Chef Ramsay may have a potty mouth but he seems upfront and caring and sensitive and honest and expects the same back.

Better than some boss who is nice-nice but sexually harassing you where other’s don’t see!!

    Honesty over sleazy any day!!

Loved it!! The kids were amazing and I was impressed with all of the Judges, they have children also, so I knew it would not be a issue for them, encouraging how they inspire them.
