Last night on Dancing With The Stars, the celebrities took on Hollywood week, as they performed to a classic movie tune. While some of the celebrities rocked the dance floor, others did not do so well, and unfortunately there was another elimination. Which fan favorite was sent packing last night?
Dancing With The Stars kicked off Hollywood week last night as each of the couples performed to a movie tune. Before the show, fans were unsure whether or not Bill Nye would even perform after tearing his ligament last week. The Science Guy did manage to perform though, to a futuristic robot jazz type of routine which meant that he didn’t have to move around that much. However, earning a pathetic 16 from the judges also hurt Nye, as he fell to the bottom along with Christina Milian when it came to elimination time.
Ultimately, it was Nye who was eliminated, leaving the audience booing and chanting his name. Nye, however, felt it was for the best as he told everyone: “There are people here who are working so hard, who are so good. You see how they’re improving every week. I’m not going to be able to keep up with that.”
On the flip side, the highest score of the evening went to actor, Brant Daugherty, who also revealed that he was dancing with an injury. Even though he said he “sprained something” in his foot, Daugherty pulled off a near flawless Quickstep that earned him a whopping 27 points from the judges. Not too shabby for only week 3.
Other notable performances included Christina Milian and Corbin Bleu, who tied for second with 26 points each. But we really enjoyed Snooki, who channeled Marilyn Monroe and earned a 25, as well as Bill Engvall, who definitely showed the most improvement, earning a 24.
