Last night marked yet another Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion which, as always, began with a parade of glittery dresses and ended with a series of half-hearted apologies from Teresa Giudice. But the drama extended well beyond the usual Teresa vs Melissa feud — all the way into indictment territory! What did Teresa have to say about her fraud charges?
Teresa Giudice remains convinced that she and her husband are in no way guilty of fraud, despite the dozens of charges and mounting evidence suggesting otherwise. She continued with the “Fraud? Who, me?!” schtick during last night’s Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion, claiming, “What happened to me could happen to anyone,” as if nearly 40 counts of fraud is on par with, say, a speeding ticket.
The other Real Housewives cast members were similarly unwilling to hold Teresa and Joe Giudice accountable for any of their current legal issues. When asked whether they’d seen the fraud charges coming, the reality stars agreed that, no, they’d never have expected to see the Giudices facing possible jail time. Caroline Manzo confessed, “We didn’t understand the magnitude of the issue.” But now, finally grasping the scope of the situation, Teresa’s fellow housewives recognize the many calamities facing the Giudice family. Joe and Melissa Gorga were quick to bring up the “four little girls,” with Melissa tearfully admitting, “I’m sad for them…when you look at the little girls sitting there, it’s sad.”
Yes, the Giudice girls are in the midst of a sad situation — it’s sad that their parents are such sleazeballs. Do you agree? Feel free to share your opinion in the comments section below!
