Duck Dynasty Drama Alert! Willie Robertson Hungry For Fame?

October 10, 2013 02:00 PM by Lisa Princ

Each week, we all love to tune into Duck Dynasty on A&E to watch The Robertson family, who quickly became one of America’s favorite television families, due to their genuine behavior and strong Christian beliefs. However, could there be drama brewing behind the scenes? Rumor has it that Willie Robertson’s hunger for fame is causing certain family members to want out of the show!

Duck Dynasty is definitely one of the best reality shows to come along in a long time, and it’s a refreshing break from the normal Kardashian type nonsense shown on television. However, rumor has it that there is some drama going on behind the scenes of Duck Dynasty! That’s right, according to In Touch Magazine, Willie Robertson’s hunger for fame is causing the family drama that they don’t care to deal with!

“When the family is resistant to Willie’s ideas, he says they don’t see the big picture (of fame we assume). The truth is they just don’t care as much,” one insider revealed, adding that Willie went out of his way to make this season of Duck Dynasty “more exciting” than ever. Another interesting tidbit is that Duck Dynasty is not Willie Robertson’s first attempt at reality television. The source went on to reveal that Willie: “tried out for The Amazing Race and almost went on Survivor.”

But his quest for fame is not sitting well with all of the family members. Rumor has it that Phil Robertson would much rather focus on preaching, while Willie’s brother, Jep and his wife Jessica are contemplating quitting the show for fear that it will damage their marriage.

We don’t know about you, but we’re thinking that it’s not Willie who makes the show. In fact, we’re pretty certain that Phil and Uncle Si could do just fine with their own show!

What do you think about the Duck Dynasty drama? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear from you! Sound off in the comments section below!

I think the show should stick together. I believe Si is the funniest character and he and Phil do have a good shot at making there own show!
However I don’t believe that it would be as interesting and funny as the full show because it does not have the full family. If they were the only ones in the show it would short and kind of boring.

Uncle Si can handle the Duckies on his own!

So what that Willie wants fame. He is an interesting character on the show and his interaction with Jase is realistic and quite normal. If we had to just watch Si and Phil, it would get very boring with just them interacting, I think, although I enjoy them as a whole team/family. Would like to hear more from the wives and their children on the show.

I can understand what Willie means about the big picture. Capitalize on this while it’s happening, it’s a season in life, make as much money as possible, and when it’s over its over. However, they do need to be careful. God and family must come first – always.

We are gonna pray for them they are a Christian family & fame & fortune aren’t all that’s important. I think it’s wise that they pull back because the simple life is what got them where they are now,why let the corruption of the outside world destroy that?

I hope they get through the problems they are having. I love this show. I love all of the Robertsons from the Phil to the babies. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy watching what they are going to do this week.
I don’t like I reality shows of any kind. I put Duck Dynasty on really by mistake. I couldn’t believe how wonderful this show is. I laugh the whole time it is on. I watch every rerun A&E put on and I watch it On-Demand when I am feeling sorry for myself, it always makes me laugh and feel better. I love the Robertsons.
