They allegedly keep politics out of the mix on 19 Kids and Counting, but when Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar aren’t filming new episodes, they’re busy rubbing noses with prominent Christian conservatives. The reality couple’s latest mission? Helping Republican Ken Cuccinelli snag a victory in the Virginia gubernatorial election!
The Duggar family is on the road…in a giant bus! No, this is not another trip to visit Josh and Anna in Washington, although we’re sure Jim Bob and Michelle are eager to make that journey as often as possible. But right now, the pair has more pressing matters at hand — specifically, the election of Ken Cuccinelli. The family — including the recently moved Josh – recently spent three days on tour, speaking at various rallies in hopes of promoting their favorite candidate.
During a stop in Woodbridge, Virginia, Michelle gushed about Ken Cuccinelli’s qualifications, explaining, “We are so excited to be here in Virginia to endorse Ken Cuccinelli and E.W. Jackson…Ken Cuccinelli has consistently stood up for women and their unborn children, fought for lower taxes and less government.”
This latest Duggar family extravaganza was sponsored by Family Research Council Action, also known as the organization responsible for Josh’s current adventures in Washington. In an official video for his employer, Josh dished on the Duggar family’s overarching goal: ”To encourage faith, family and freedom.”
