Uncle Si’s infamous Duck Dynasty scarecrow may have been reduced to charred remains, but that little incident is certianly not about the dampen the Robertsons’ undeniable Halloween spirit! Get ready, for tonight marks the much-anticipated Duck Dynasty Halloween extravaganza!
The Robertson family’s favorite holiday is Christmas, because, you know, baby Jesus…not to mention, delicious food from the lovely Miss Kay. But Christmas is just one of several holidays celebrated by the Roberston clan. Prior to the holiday season, the family sets aside one crazy night for ghouls, ghosts, witches and a wide array of other decidedly non-Christian entities. We’re talking Halloween, of course, when the reality stars go all out with extravagant costumes and decorations. Tonight, we’ll witness all this and more during Duck Dynasty’s Halloween-themed finale!
There is, however, at least one Duck Dynasty star opposed to his family’s Halloween antics: Jase Robertson. He’s not particularly frightened by the holiday’s many creepy specimens, but Jase does find the idea of couples costumes a bit off-putting. In a preview for the upcoming Halloween episode, he admits, that, whenever he sees lovebirds decked out in matching costumes, “it means manhood has left the building.” Suffice to say, Jase does not approve of Jep and Jessica dressing up as Raggedy Ann and Andy.
Willie, on the other hand, has no problem with couples costumes, although he definitely prefers to devise his own unique look. In an effort to terrify the kids, the reality dad attempts to dress up as Freddie Krueger. Let’s just say, nobody’s quivering with fear. Far scarier is Phil, who, like Jase, appears to be opposed to his family’s costume shenanigans. In footage from the preview, Phil tries for the wallflower approach (which, with such a magnificent beard, is destined to fail), observing the festivities with a grumpy expression on his face.
Check out the preview for tonight’s aptly-named Halloween episode and, when you’re done, feel free to share your favorite Duck Dynasty costume in the comments section below!
