Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Star Takes To Twitter Over Alleged Abuse

October 29, 2013 04:30 PM by Suzy Kerr

Things have not been going well lately for former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer. After being diagnosed with the beginning stages of endometrial cancer earlier this month, the ex-Housewife is now alleging that someone – no official word yet on who – physically assaulted her just days after surgery to treat the cancer.

Camille took to Twitter on Monday and fired off several shocking messages about the abuse she had recently endured. The first tweet cryptically read, “Info will come out today that is jaw dropping. And women can’t be silenced after being physically abused!” Of course this got everyone wondering exactly what the jaw-dropping info was, and then two minutes later, Camille had another message.“Getting my strength back now that I am at home and wasn’t able to deal with talking about it after my cancer surgery or what had happen.”

That second tweet didn’t shed much light on the situation either, but it did start a dialogue that provided a few more details. After being inundated with well wishes and questions from her followers, Camille Grammer responded to one, saying “Yes, it was horrible what had happened to me two days out of the hospital.” A minute later, she elaborated further (sort of), with “I was in fear for my life.” Though the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stopped short of supplying the who, what and why of the alleged abuse, she did indicated that the police are involved and that she’s sought out legal advice.

Camille, who was once married to actor Kelsey Grammer, has been dating boyfriend Dimitri Charalambopoulos since 2011. Though she has yet to name him as the person who assaulted her, sources say Dimitri is responsible for the attack and that charges against him are forthcoming.

What do you think about Camille’s abuse allegations? Should she be tweeting about it, or should she have kept it on the downlow until she files official charges? Tell us in the comments!
