Having one hugely successful show on television wasn’t enough for the likes of Kris Jenner, so the Kardashian matriarch decided to launch her own talk show, aptly entitled Kris, back in July. However, as you probably recall, the show’s abysmal ratings prompted its cancellation after just six weeks, prompting the whole of society to breathe a collective sigh of relief. However, the ill-fated talk show has decided to rear its ugly head once again, this time in the most recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
On last night’s episode of the reality hit, Kris Jenner confronts daughters Khloe and Kourtney, blasting them for not supporting her new talk show. When Kris learns that neither of the girls had even so much as tuned in to the daytime snooze-fest, mama Kris breaks down into tears and immediately embarks on a guilt trip. She did, after all, spend her best years nurturing their careers and turning them into the Hollywood A-listers they are today (<— that is 100% sarcasm, in case it wasn’t obvious).
Kris did finally manage to get a few of her family members on the show, including Khloe and son-in-law Scott Disick. She even snagged the notoriously private (more sarcasm) Kanye West, who shared a rare photograph of new daughter North West. Sadly, even appearances by Khloe, Lord Disick and Yeezy weren’t enough to save the floundering talk show, and Fox made the easy decision not to renew it. It’s a total bummer, but Kris will just have to deal with making her millions off only one show instead of two. Must. Be. Rough.
So what did you think about last night’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians? Was Kris justified in her pissed-offness at Khloe and Kourtney, or do they get a pass because the show sucked and they were simply exercising their God-given rights not to watch sucky TV? Tell us in the comments!
