No camouflage or muddy boots for this glam event! Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson was on hand for his kids’ homecoming ceremonies, as John Luke and Sadie Robertson were part of the court during their high school’s big night. Wearing their snazziest duds, the kids – and their famous dad – took the field during the crowning ceremony where the king and queen were revealed.
While the Robertson kids weren’t declared homecoming king or queen, they were clearly deemed as royalty in the eyes of their proud family. John Luke went with a traditional tux with a black bow tie for the event, while Sadie opted for a strapless ivory dress adorned with bold-colored, embroidered flowers. She completed the look with a skinny black belt and minimal makeup and kept her long hair loose. On the football field during crowning, she covered up with a stylish red coat and black hat, while dad Willie – who served as her escort – went with his usual patriotic bandana along with jeans, a button down shirt and a sport coat. His only accessory? That beautiful beard.
At the ceremony, Sadie served as a sophomore maid, while John Luke was a junior escort. Prior to the festivities on the football field, the kids participated in the homecoming parade, and Sadie even got some help from mom Korie and grandma Chrys in designing and decorating the sophomore class float.
A successful homecoming wasn’t the only thing causing celebration in the Robertson household, either. Earlier this week, America’s classiest rednecks made a hilarious appearance – and even showed off their twerking skills – at the CMAs, and they also learned that their family Christmas album was topping the charts in the country genre. The compilation of Christmas songs on Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas has apparently been getting everyone in the holiday spirit, with duets by family members and some of country’s biggest names, like Allison Krauss and George Strait.
