Ruben Studdard Returns To The Biggest Loser Tonight, Jillian Michaels Hints At Conspiracy

November 19, 2013 02:30 PM by Lisa Princ

Ruben Studdard will make his return to The Biggest Loser ranch tonight, after what we all assumed was a sabotaged weigh in by Jillian Michaels two weeks ago. However, though Jillian Michaels has kept pretty mum on what went down, she did manage to hint recently that the incident was nothing but a conspiracy to bring Studdard back. Uh oh…

Last week on The Biggest Loser, Jillian Michaels was accused of breaking the rules the week prior by giving her contestants a caffeine supplement without the consent of the show’s doctor. When questioned about the incident, Michaels offered no apology for going with her professional opinion that supplements are healthier than coffee. But for breaking the rules, her team was given a 4 pound disadvantage on the scale, and we were informed that Ruben Studdard (the contestant eliminated during the week in question), would be returning to the show.

However, Jillian Michaels has since hinted that it was nothing more than a conspiracy to bring back the famous Idol contestant. She’s kept fairly quiet for the most part, but when a fan recently Tweeted about the incident to Michaels claiming: “She was used by the show for a reason to bring a famous contestant back,” Michaels responded with: “You’re spot on.” Uh oh…

So, now we have to ask: Do you think that it was all a conspiracy to bring Ruben Studdard back? Or was the show correct to punish Michaels for using supplements?

Jillian michaels was absolutely used as a pawn to bring Ruben studdard back on the show. The question is whether she was complicit in the ruse. Hard to say. I feel like if she was truly used without her consent, she would be doing more than making coy comments about a possible conspiracy. But hey, he’s an American Idol winner! Can you blame them? The producers must have choked on their champagne and caviar when he was eliminated.

I am glad to see Ruben returning, and I do not believe any conspiracy is involved.
I wish him luck in his weight loss journey.

Jillian Michaels is not loyal to the show that made her famous and puts food on the table so to speak. Regardless of it being a conspiracy or not she should have stayed silent and work harder to overcome whatever issues she felt were wrong. Loyalty should mean something.

I definitely think it was a conspiracy but I’m glad they brought him back! As I see it no one was really penalized because if you look at the weight loss percentages before the 4 lb disadvantage the white team was still going to be sending someone home. At least that’s the way I saw it.

The biggest loser in this show is the show itself. Where to begin with just this weeks episode. Ruben is back after a supposed “caffeine pill” scandal. In all of the years of Jillian training this is the first year this would become an issue? I’m sure she is on the show as a trainer for a reason and not for supplementing her contestants from year to year. Second… Once on the ranch you are on the ranch. Weddings are delayed and the birth of your child are not exceptions to leave the ranch. Yet Ruben gets to take a trip off the ranch to see his music producer.a deal between NBC and Ruben for publicity for who’s benefit? Unfair to the father who missed his child’s birth to say the least. Not to mention the fact that all of the contestants look to have lost weight but not Ruben. And for being the largest on the show he should have lost a noticable amount of weight. So yes, the show itself is the biggest loser. At least it’s true to its name.

First of all,Ruben is not the first celebrity contestant on BL. Olympic wrestler Rulon Gardner was on several seasons ago. As for the “conspiracy nuts” – and that includes Jillian herself – there have been non-celebrity fan favorites who went home early and contestants that everyone, even the trainers, hated that stgay – remember Conda? Jeremy? Mark? Kim? from the what Bob called the “nasty” season?

I can’t believe anyone is actually dumb enough to think what Jillian did was okay. Whether the pills were better than coffee had NOTHING to do with it. The show considered caffeine in pill form to be a supplement and chose not to allow the contestants to take it. Jillian did it anyway – THAT’S CHEATING, PEOPLE!! It wasn’t the medical differences that were an issue IT WAS THE CHEATING THAT WAS THE ISSUE! Do all of you out there defending Jillian get it yet? NO CHEATING!!!

I think that the contestant Idol winner is definitely popular. I also think that Michaels has been popular. Is this a celeb ruse? I think anything is possible with this show and the popularity contests that arise.
In my opinion, after watching this show for years, Michaels is very dedicated. She may have had the players try the supplement but highly unlikely after following her style of work-outs and motivators throughout the years. She is consistent.
