Over the summer, Jon Gosselin and his pal, Robert Hoffman were hit with a lawsuit by Kate Gosselin, who claimed that they hacked into her personal things in order to write a nasty tell all book about her. However, Gosselin recently dropped the lawsuit against her ex-husband, and now the former Kate Plus 8 star has dropped the lawsuit against Hoffman as well!
Kate Gosselin filed a lawsuit against her ex-husband Jon Gosselin and his friend Robert Hoffman back in August for supposedly hacking into her computer, phone, and other records, for the purpose of publishing a not-so-nice book about her. The lawsuit claimed that after Jon stole her information, he then gave the information, which again she claimed were acquired illegally, to his friend and business partner, tabloid reporter Robert Hoffman, who went on to publish the book Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World.
However, Kate recently dismissed the lawsuit against her ex-husband Jon, and now, according to Radar Online, she had dropped the lawsuit against Robert Hoffman as well. Apparently, Gosselin had a possible change of heart on the day before Thanksgiving, as she asked for voluntary dismissal of the entire lawsuit. It’s unclear what made Gosselin the drop the suit, but we’re certain that neither Jon Gosselin nor Robert Hoffman are complaining!
Perhaps Kate realized that she had no chance of winning the lawsuit? Or did she just have a change of heart?
