Christina Aguilera may not have walked away with a winning contestant on last night’s finale of The Voice, as Adam Levine’s contestant, Tessane Chin took the victory, but she still managed to shine! Aguilera rocked the stage when she put on an amazing duet with Lady Gaga, ending all the rumors of a possible feud between the two.
On last night’s finale of The Voice, it was team Adam Levine who took the win, as Tessane Chin was crowned the season 5 winner. But despite not winning, Christina Aguilera still managed to keep fans buzzing, as her duet with Lady Gaga put an end to all the feud rumors. Both donning metallic gold outfits, Aguilera and Gaga belted out Do What U Want, while even sipping some champagne.
After the performance, the ladies were given a chance to dish on their duet, and Lady Gaga explained: “I was really excited because The Voice called and said they wanted me to perform on the finale, and I obviously can’t refuse. Such an amazing show! And I said I want to know if Christina wants to do it with me!”
Aguilera then revealed that this was the first time the pair had even met, despite the feud rumors that had been surrounding the two singers. “When I heard she wanted to collaborate, I said of course! She’s such an innovative artist and a risk taker. And as a fellow female, I have so much respect for that. And I just have to say guys, she’s the most down-to-earth real person I’ve met. So I love you girl, and you deserve everything you’ve earned,” Christina Aguilera went on to say.
And she did not stop there! After the performance aired, Christina took to Twitter to once again thank Lady Gaga for joining her, and praising Gaga once again. It definitely sounds like these two gals have struck up quite the friendship! We’re glad we can finally put those feud rumors to rest.
