Khloe Kardashian Speaks Out ‘I Don’t Regret Anything’

December 30, 2013 12:21 PM by Suzy Kerr

2013 is almost over, and there’s one Keeping Up with the Kardashians star that couldn’t be happier – Khloe Kardashian.  The 29-year old reality star recently opened up to British Cosmopolitan, touching on everything from her failed marriage to NBA player Lamar Odom to her 30-pound weight loss this year. One thing that Khloe wanted to be clear on though? She may be ready for a fresh start, but that doesn’t mean she has any regrets about the choices she’s made.

In the revealing interview, Khloe didn’t specifically address her divorce from Lamar, but she did say, “I don’t regret anything about my life. My life has made me who I am at this moment, and I’m very happy with who I am. No matter if it’s great, disgusting, beautiful or ugly; it happens and it makes you you. Life is about how you process things.”

She did confess, however, that she’s ready to put 2013 behind her and move on, and she’s embracing the new year with open arms. “I love the new year, new beginnings,” she said in her cover story. “I need a good fresh start; I’m excited for this year to be over with. You only live once so let’s make that one time perfect. We can’t fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let’s have fun. You get what you give out in life.”

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star also shed light on her struggles with body image and finding acceptance with her appearance.  After dropping 30 pounds this year, the curvy brunette says she’s feeling great and ready to “sex it up a little.” Insecurities about her figure weren’t the only battle she’s fought, however, and she shared a memory from her childhood that still pains her. “She didn’t mean harm, but when I was around nine I overheard my mom telling her friend I needed a nose job. I was shocked; I hadn’t even thought about it. I’ve grown into my face, but I’ve had makeup artists tell me, ‘You should get a nose job.’ I’m so happy that I never have.” She continued, “I’m proud for losing weight when I wanted to and I’ve never resorted to surgery. I’m not against it – one day I probably will but it would be on my terms.”

From the sounds of it, Khloe Kardashian is in a much better place, and she does seem to be moving on and embracing the changes in her life – good or bad. But what do you think about Khloe’s interview? Do you think she’s being genuine? Tell us in the comments!
