Traci Braxton recently lost a ton of weight — 64 pounds, to be precise — and she’s mighty of her new body! The Braxton Family Values star recently appeared on NewsOne Now, where she chatted with Roland Martin about her big slim-down. How’d she drop the extra pounds?
Now that she’s managed to lose an impressive 64 pounds, Traci Braxton is able to look back at the weight loss effort and smile, knowing she had it in her all along. But the reality star found that difficult to believe in the early stages of her big health kick. Ultimately, a candid look in the mirror was enough to convince her that weight loss was worth a try. “I was upset with myself because I was gaining the weight, and I didn’t really feel as sexy as I wanted to feel, and I didn’t give my family my all.”
Despite the temptation to seek a quick fix, Traci knew that a healthy diet and regular exercise served as the best tools for ditching the excess weight. During her appearance on NewsOne Now, she urged audience members to avoid diet pills at all costs. “You have to go to the doctor because me being borderline diabetic now and I have to take medication. I could kill myself. You can actually kill yourself taking these medications because it [diet pills] doesn’t mix with your medication.” Wise words from Traci Braxton!
