The Bachelor returns this Sunday for a new season starring devoted single father, Juan Pablo Galavis. However, new rumors suggest that Galavis is not a devoted single father, but he is actually a deadbeat dad! Uh oh, what is this all about?
It’s almost “Juan-uary” folks, or in Bachelor terms, time for Juan Pablo Galavis’ journey for love to start on our televisions. But as the new season is almost upon us, you knew that the rumors would be flying! The latest? That despite coming off as a devoted single father on The Bachelorette, Galavis is really a deadbeat dad. Yikes. Luckily, the report came from The National Enquirer, which is known for fabricating stories, but curiosity always keeps up wondering if there is the slightest bit of truth to it…
According to the tabloid, they’ve seen the documents from a court ordering Galavis to make good on his past due child support payments back in May of 2011, almost two years after his daughter was born. The tabloid goes on to claim that the Florida Department of Revenue’s Child Support Enforcement Program then wound up slapping Galavis with a wage garnishment for child support. And one insider went on to tell the magazine: “Juan Pablo has been hoping that news of his court-ordered child support didn’t get out because he doesn’t want ‘Bachelor’ fans finding out he’s not the perfect father he portrays himself to be.”
What do you think about Juan Pablo Galavis possibly being a deadbeat dad? Do you think there is any truth to this story? Are you excited for the new season of The Bachelor to start? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it. Comment below to share your thoughts with us!
