Scott Disick continues to grieve following his father’s seemingly unexpected death last week. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s dad, Jeffrey, passed away Jan. 3, just two months after his wife. Neither Scott nor his partner Kourtney Kardashian have commented, but the couple was spotted at LAX on Sunday catching a flight to New York where funeral services will likely be held.
There’s still no word on how Jeffrey Disick, 63, died, and no one from the Kardashian side of the family has spoken out. Jeffrey was reportedly in Los Angeles at the time of his death, where a source said he was living to be closer to Scott and his family after wife Bonnie Disick’s death. Bonnie passed away in November at the age of 63 following an unspecified illness. Scott and Kourtney were both in attendance at her small funeral in New York, where Jeffrey will also presumably be laid to rest.
Jeffrey and Bonnie Disick both appeared on several episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. In one, Scott and Kourtney take their son Mason to New York to visit Scott’s parents in the Hamptons, and it was obvious how close the Disicks were with their son. A source close to the family told E! News, “The whole family is so devastated and Scott is beside himself. Scott is an only child with no remaining family.”
Shortly before Jeffrey’s passing, Scott, Kourtney and their children Mason and Penelope had been in Park City, Utah, where they were vacationing with other members of Kourtney’s family. The group spent New Year’s in Utah, where they had been photographed skiing and shopping. Scott’s most recent tweet was on New Year’s Eve, and none of his social media accounts have been updated since then – understandable as he processes this tragic loss so soon after losing his mother.
