Caroline Manzo Embarks On Weight Loss Journey

It looks like Kyle Richards is just one of several Real Housewives cast members striving to lose weight! Caroline Manzo recently announced her weight loss goal for 2014 — how many pounds does the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum want to drop?

Like many of us, Caroline Manzo has resolved to get healthy this year. And part of that process will, by necessity, involve losing weight. The reality star recently set a very ambitious weight loss goal for 2014, promising to drop a total of thirty pounds by the end of the year. She shared this resolution on her official website, explaining, “5’1″ tall 148.5 — to hell with that.”

Caroline wants to get her weight down to 118, a goal that is more than reasonable, so long as she’s dedicates herself to a healthy diet and plenty of exercise. It looks like she’s off to a great start, for as she reported earlier today, “Great work out in the gym and another 1/2 lb down.” This post arrived just a few days after Caroline revealed that she’d already lost three pounds. Thus, altogether, the reality star is under 145 and feeling great!

In addition to spending plenty of time at the gym, Caroline is shedding the extra pounds by making better meal choices. Her new diet includes such delicious treats as Greek yogurt, blueberries and turkey burgers. She strives to eat balanced meals loaded with plenty of nutrients — but also to treat herself to foods she truly enjoys.
