Porsha Stewart has been called many things over the years, with examples including ignorant, egotistical and shallow. But a bad friend? That’s a brand new insult! On last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha managed to anger NeNe Leakes enough to elicit the bad friend epithet. How’d she accomplish that extraordinary feat?
As you may recall from earlier episodes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha Stewart decided to cement her split from Kordell by moving into her very own bachelorette pad. The reality star’s fancy digs just so happen to be in NeNe Leakes’ neighborhood, although Porsha wasn’t quite ready to notify her friend. But she wasn’t counting on Phaedra Parks and Kenya Moore spilling the beans before she was good and ready!
Upon hearing of Porsha’s big move, NeNe exploded. “You don’t text, you don’t call, you are a bad friend.” The response of this alleged ‘bad friend’ was plenty predictable, with Porsha bursting into tears and claiming that she was about to have a breakdown. And of course, the reality star once again had to milk her split with Kordell Stewart, explaining, “All this I’m dealing with, I’m not up for it. I’ve got a lot going on. I don’t really want to hear I’m a bad friend right now.”
The two did manage to make amends, with NeNe even offering up one of her rare apologies. “I apologize if I’ve hurt your feelings…it takes two to have a relationship”
All’s well that ends well — until the next big fight!
What did you think of Porsha Stewart and NeNe Leakes’ argument on The Real Housewives of Atlanta? Does Porsha’s failure to text mean that she is, as NeNe suggests, a bad friend? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it, so feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below!
