The assault incident involving rapper Kanye West just keeps getting stranger. TMZ is reporting that the man, whom Yeezy punched after he made racially charged remarks to his fiancé, Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian, was acting very bizarre immediately before the incident. Um, hello. Of course he was. Anyone that makes comments like he did, and to Kanye West of all people, is obviously mentally unstable.
The assault happened yesterday in Beverly Hills, where Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were scheduled to attend a meeting. As Kim headed into the appointment by herself – ‘Ye must have been parking the car – the man appeared out of nowhere to help her move through the paparazzi and into the building. That was when he began making homophobic and racial remarks about the photogs. When Kim told him to shut it, he turned his verbal assault on her, calling her a n****r lover, among other things.
That was when Kanye got involved, and he and Kim followed the 18-year old man into a nearby chiropractor’s office. Earlier we reported that Yeezy punched the guy in the arm, but now TMZ is saying the rapper struck the man in the face. (Good.) Officer personnel called the cops, and the man has decided to press charges.
Now here’s where it gets a little weirder – as if some random dude yelling terribly offensive stuff at one of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians stars isn’t weird enough. According to eyewitnesses – and the video shot by TMZ – the man was lurking around the building where Kim and Kanye’s appointment was, and his actions were pretty bizarre. When Kim arrives, he yells at her “They’re whack, dude. You have to deal with that every day?” before hopping up and down the steps like a deranged bunny rabbit. Kim appears to simply ignore the guy, at least until he starts blasting off the N-word. And really, who can blame her for reacting to that? The guy deserved more than one punch to the arm or face or wherever, in my opinion.
But what do you think? Is Kanye West going to get in trouble for attacking this guy, or was he justified in his actions? Tell us in the comments!
