They say karma will eventually come back to bite those who deserve it, and though it has taken nearly a year, it looks like Octomom, Nadya Suleman, may finally be getting what she deserves. That’s right folks, nearly a year after the investigation began into claims that Octomom was defrauding welfare, she has been charged with 3 counts of felony welfare fraud!
Last year, Nadya Suleman, aka Octomom was accused of committing welfare fraud, as she collected welfare without reporting certain income that she received such as that from her various porn gigs. Well, it looks like it may be coming back to bite her, as Octo has been charged with 3 felony counts of welfare fraud, according to a new report by TMZ.
The site claims that Suleman was charged with 1 count of aid by misrepresentation, and 2 counts of perjury by false application for aid. According to the District Attorney who filed the charges, Octomom failed to report about $30K from January to June of 2013. Back in August, it was revealed that Octomom’s financial records were seized, and apparently, she was overpaid by welfare by over $15K (thanks to her scamming the system).
Now, the District Attorney is asking that the judge set her bail at $25K, and if she is convicted on all 3 counts, Nadya could face five years in prison. The lesson here folks is don’t try to scam the welfare system, because it will come back to bite you in the behind. Something tells us that Octo may just end up in prison, or perhaps we are just hopeful.
What do you think of Octomom commiting welfare fraud? Should she go to prison? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it so sound off in the comments section and tell us all about it.
