Given her status as a bridal designer, it’s only understandable that Desiree Hartsock is eager to show off her talent when her big day arrives. Rumor has it, the Bachelorette star will don not one, but two self-designed dresses when she marries Chris Siegfried.
Desiree Hartsock is excited to take Chris Siegfried’s hand in marriage, but that’s only one of several reasons why she’s looking forward to her wedding day. The reality star can’t wait to show off two of the gowns she’s designed. Both were created in collaboration with top fashionista Maggie Sottero. The designer’s rep recently told Radar Online that one of the dresses would be worn during the ceremony, while the other is reserved exclusively for the reception.
After previewing the exciting development on her Twitter page, Des finally broke the big news, tweeting, “I will be pairing up with @maggiesottero to design my wedding dress & an exclusive collection of gowns.” That’s right — in addition to the two dresses she’s creating for her own wedding, Desiree will also work with Maggie Sottero to put together a full line of designer gowns, all of which will be modeled at The Knot’s LA Couture Show this August.
There’s still no word as to when Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried’s wedding will actually take place. Desiree’s made it clear that she’s not looking for a huge bash on the scale of Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici’s upcoming festivities; she prefers something far more intimate and exclusive.
