The Grammy Awards took place last night, but we all know that the real noteworthy event was Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici’s wedding. The Bachelor lovebirds tied the knot on live television, incorporating the theme of “grown sexy” into every detail of the ceremony.
It’s official — Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici are husband and wife! Their wedding ceremony played out on live television last night, but only after a long special detailing the entirety of the planning process. While witnessing the lengthy wedding preparations, we learned all about Catherine’s obsession with grown sexy and Sean’s insistence on self-written vows. As Catherine had explained prior to the wedding, “We definitely wanted to write our own vows, and that came from [Sean], which is so sweet.”
Good thing the two did decide to write their own vows — they proved quite entertaining. Sean offered up the usual lovey-dovey stuff you’d expect from…well, Sean Lowe. He raved about his bride’s “infectious smile” and “adorable giggle.” Catherine, on the other hand, sounded like she was trying to following Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried into the realm of poetry, with mixed results. Examples of this include “I promise to love you until my heart bursts,” and “I can’t wait to shine together and make everybody completely blind.”
Other highlights of the Bachelor wedding included the exchanging of Neil Lane rings, Sean’s dad on the “launch pad” and the attendance of several alums, including Ashley Hebert, JP Rosenbaum and Desiree Hartsock. All were excited to take part in Sean and Catherine’s special day.
