Joyce Giraud Accuses Carlton Gebbia Of Casting A Spell On Her

January 28, 2014 10:00 AM by Suzy Kerr

Somewhere, Brandi Glanville is laughing maniacally and turning metaphorical cartwheels. On last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Brandi’s enemy numerouno Joyce Giraud made Housewife history when she became the unlucky recipient of a hex, cast upon her by resident Wiccan Carlton Gebbia.

Tensions have been building between Carlton Gebbia and some of the other Housewives – namely Kyle Richards – but it was Joyce Giraud who received the show’s first-ever curse. It makes sense, really. Carlton and Brandi are tight, and Brandi hates Joyce, so of course Carlton is going to share some of those feelings.

It didn’t help either that Joyce has made some digs about Carlton’s religion, with her latest proclamation being that “Spells only get to you if you believe in it.” Nice one, Joyce. You could’ve just come right out and dared Carlton to cast a spell on you. Of course, Carlton disagreed with Joyce’s opinion on curses, and ultimately warned her, “When you go home tonight, watch out.” Brandi was on hand for the testy exchange, and you could just see the excitement coming off of her when she realized that Joyce might be getting hexed. She later gleefully told the Bravo cameras, “I think Carlton might have just put a spell on Joyce. Fingers crossed!”

The next day, Joyce confided in Kim Richards that after she got home the night before, her husband Michael – who Carlton also isn’t a fan of – came down with a mysterious illness. “Sick is one thing,” Joyce told Kim. “What he got is something else.”

Whether Michael simply ate some bad sushi or something, or if Carlton really did put a hex on Joyce and her family remains to be seen, but one thing is sure –Brandi is loving every minute of it. And hopefully, Joyce will choose her words more carefully in the future when dealing with someone who’s got a closet full of pentagrams and who knows what else.

So what did you think about last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Did Carlton really cast a spell on Joyce and Michael, or was his illness just a weird coincidence? Tell us what you think in the comments!

when joyce giraud brings God into it and she’s nonrelgious, I think she pretty much defending herself. I am thrilled about for a reason. Joyce giraud brags on televsion how her marriage communication is easy and that they don’t struggle to stay in love. Several episodes later, her husband says ten years married and she never went on a ski trip with him once, proving she’s a liar, to get married since he likes that sport to seem compatible. she’s arrogant to try to make people feel jealous. gentleman and world’s graetest lover? did she sleep with John Mayer? stories have been mentioned in the past women have compliented him in bed. can’t be the same person.
