This season of The Bachelor has been incredibly steamy thus far, what with the Juan Pablo Galavis’ avoidance of shirts, not to mention the constant kissing. Worried that, perhaps, he was taking the smooching too far, Juan Pablo attempted to cut himself off — with mixed results.
During the season premiere of The Bachelor, Sean Lowe advised Juan Pablo Galavis to avoid kissing one contestant in front of the others, as it would only lead to hardcore jealousy. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), Sean’s successor decided not to take the advice to heart, instead opting to kiss his favorites whenever and wherever he could.
Last night, Juan Pablo began to realize that, perhaps, the frequent kissing might be the source of a ton of drama. This sudden burst of insight was sparked by Renee, who wondered what the reality star’s daughter Camilla would feel about her daddy’s behavior. Juan Pablo pondered the idea and ultimately decided that it was time to back off. “I’ve kissed six girls already, and I don’t want my daughter seeing her dad kissing 20 girls, so I’m going to take a step back and I’m going to try to not kiss anybody tonight.”
Like any good resolution, this moratorium was good for all of a day, with Juan Pablo going in for a smooch after Clare admitted to throwing up in her mouth while eating octopus. Yes, this confessions somehow elicited a kiss. Juan explained, “I’m helpless. I don’t even know what to do. I wasn’t gonna kiss her, but I couldn’t help it.”
Were you surprised to see Juan Pablo make it even that long without kissing? Leave a comment and let us know!
