Will Phaedra Parks Stand By Her Man?

January 30, 2014 03:00 PM by Suzy Kerr

Joe and Teresa Giudice aren’t the only Real Housewives stars in trouble with the law. Phaedra Parks’ man Apollo Nida is also facing prison time for alleged fraud crimes, but one of the biggest questions for fans is whether or not the Real Housewives of Atlanta star will stick with her man.

And the answer is yes she will – at least according to Apollo. Since his alleged criminal activity was blasted onto the media scene last week, there have been plenty of questions about the couple’s future. One fan tweeted on Tuesday, “Have @PhaedraParks and @ApolloNida03 separated?” and they actually got a response, with Apollo responding “NEVER!!!!”

Well then. For a guy facing prison time, Apollo seems awfully certain that Phaedra is cool with all this. Then again, if he is convicted and sentenced to prison, it wouldn’t be the first time. Apollo previously spent five years behind bars for auto title fraud, marrying the Real Housewives of Atlanta star shortly after his 2009 release. Still, it’s a whole different situation now. The couple has two children together, and it is rather telling that Apollo – and not Phaedra – was the one to insist that they weren’t separating.

As for the legal situation, Apollo will head to court on February 12 to face a federal judge over fraud charges. Counts of fraudulent activity include that Apollo formed fake companies, opened bogus accounts under those names, and used them to cash stolen U.S. Treasury checks. The reality star surrendered on January 23 and avoided pre-trial jail by posting a $25,000 bond. As part of the condition for his release, Apollo also had to agree not to consume alcohol and to stay in the Atlanta area unless accompanied by a court-appointed supervisor.

Right now, we can only speculate about how this will play out in court, but Apollo’s past convictions certainly can’t help the situation. And as for Phaedra’s commitment to her man? Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

So what do you think? Will Phaedra Parks stand by her man during and after his courtroom showdown? Sound off in the comments!
