Things are getting a more intense in the fraud case against Apollo Nida, and this time the heat has been turned on under Phaedra Parks. Questions remain about just how much the Real Housewives of Atlanta star knew about her husband’s alleged criminal dealings, and now there’s some potentially damaging evidence that Phaedra might have known more about the misdeeds than she let on.
RadarOnline has obtained documents from the Georgia Secretary of State detailing corporations formed in the state, and the information within certainly raises a few questions where Phaedra is concerned. In the paperwork, Phaedra Parks is listed as a founding officer of several of the companies Apollo created, including National Recovery Group, Inc.,Nida, Inc.,Nida Fitness Inc., and Nida Group, Inc.
As previously reported, Apollo allegedly formed these bogus companies with criminal intentions, with fraud and identity theft being the ultimate goals. According to the feds, Apollo started the companies to obtain access to personal identification databases, which he would then use to steal people’s identities. In the complaint, federal prosecutors write, “When I describe these businesses as fake, what I mean is that while they may have been validly organized as entities with the Georgia Secretary of State, they existed for a purpose other than the apparent business purpose implied by the entity name. In other words, I believe [they] were set up for the purpose of obtaining access to LexisNexis, Equifax, and similar databases.”
Phaedra’s inclusion as a co-founder in the companies certainly doesn’t look good for the Real Housewives of Atlanta star, though she has yet to be charged with anything. While some reports have surfaced saying that the reality star, who’s also a practicing attorney, has been disbarred over the matter, a representative for the Georgia State Bar says that is not true at this time. “She is an active member and has no public discipline. She has never been disbarred or suspended and is a member in good standing,” the rep said.
So what do you think about Phaedra Parks’ possible involvement in Apollo Nida’s alleged fraudulent activities? Sound off in the comments!
