Could Phaedra Parks Be Indicted On Fraud Charges Along With Her Husband Apollo?

February 03, 2014 12:00 PM by Suzy Kerr

Things are getting a more intense in the fraud case against Apollo Nida, and this time the heat has been turned on under Phaedra Parks. Questions remain about just how much the Real Housewives of Atlanta star knew about her husband’s alleged criminal dealings, and now there’s some potentially damaging evidence that Phaedra might have known more about the misdeeds than she let on.

RadarOnline has obtained documents from the Georgia Secretary of State detailing corporations formed in the state, and the information within certainly raises a few questions where Phaedra is concerned. In the paperwork, Phaedra Parks is listed as a founding officer of several of the companies Apollo created, including National Recovery Group, Inc.,Nida, Inc.,Nida Fitness Inc., and Nida Group, Inc.

As previously reported, Apollo allegedly formed these bogus companies with criminal intentions, with fraud and identity theft being the ultimate goals. According to the feds, Apollo started the companies to obtain access to personal identification databases, which he would then use to steal people’s identities. In the complaint, federal prosecutors write, “When I describe these businesses as fake, what I mean is that while they may have been validly organized as entities with the Georgia Secretary of State, they existed for a purpose other than the apparent business purpose implied by the entity name. In other words, I believe [they] were set up for the purpose of obtaining access to LexisNexis, Equifax, and similar databases.”

Phaedra’s inclusion as a co-founder in the companies certainly doesn’t look good for the Real Housewives of Atlanta star, though she has yet to be charged with anything. While some reports have surfaced saying that the reality star, who’s also a practicing attorney, has been disbarred over the matter, a representative for the Georgia State Bar says that is not true at this time. “She is an active member and has no public discipline. She has never been disbarred or suspended and is a member in good standing,” the rep said.

So what do you think about Phaedra Parks’ possible involvement in Apollo Nida’s alleged fraudulent activities? Sound off in the comments!

How sad for their precious kids. Sucks growing up without a father…or with a shitty one who sticks around.

To those claiming that “maybe Phaedra didn’t know,” I ask you this: Say you were making hundreds of thousands per year running a multi-person crime operation. Could you keep the source of your (giant) income hidden from your spouse? You know, the one you file taxes with each year, budget for your family with and spend every day living in the same house with?

Most of us can barely hide it when we overspend on a handbag or night out with the boys, much less hiding a massive crime op that brings in a fortune.

If Angela Stanton is to be believed, Phaedra not only knew about the auto title fraud, she spearheaded it. Saying she just “fell for” Apollo and was “blinded by love” is whitewashing the reality–that she had knowledge of his criminal activities at best or was masterminding them at worst. She IS a high-powered lawyer and TV star, you know.

I’d like to see her be forced to pay back all the book royalties she siphoned from Stanton via lawsuits…right before going in the clink with her lowlife husband.

PHADRA knew something!!! apollo said he brought home receipts from the strip club! she saw those and she knew it was not her money that was paying and she knew his “recovery business” was not that
successful, I would say his cash helped out a lot and that she spent some of it along the way… she needs to have to pay… what would hurt her most is to have to get off REALITY TV for the rest of her life! and be made to live her life like us regular
folks after she pays SOME BIG FINES! apollo just needs to go back to jail!

Actually, I’m not defending Phaedra, however how many white collar criminals have provided a stable life for their loved ones by illegal means? Many have done it and spouses were never implicated. They have a pre-nup, Phaedra is by far, not dumb with her money and by that I mean that they may not share a bank account. He’s also charged with some tax issues if I’m not mistaken, he may have lied on his taxes about his income. All this to say, a white collar crime is easier to get away with than say…selling drugs.

It’s too much like everything Angela Stanton said about the way they recruited her and how their schemes worked for Phaedra not to know and he made the mistake of saying he was spending $5000 a night at strip clubs…really you don’t have a job Mr. Nida…come on now

Oh well. Maybe Mr. President can pardon his mother and father.

Just because Prince and Mr. president are very cute doesn’t mean they are not spoiled to death and will be ” victims” of ” affluenca”………..oh please, just cause kids are cute doesn’t mean a thing. Those poor kids will grow up to be as manipulative, obnoxious and conniving as their parents. Just look at what matters to Phae Phae- money and prestige! They probably have a better chance in life to be decent human beings being raised by other relatives with some kind of morals and values. I ain’t trusting Ms. Pastor Momma too much either! Father seems more decent person. Jmo

The Bible does state, “The love of money is the root of ALL evil.” And how about that Porsha, being a former evangelist, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ(youtube.com). They all need to repent, get delivered from the spirit of filthy lucre, and live for life after the present! Such vain, ignorant phonies and hypocrites!
