Kim Kardashian Joins Jay Leno For Send Off Celebration

February 07, 2014 12:22 PM by Stephanie Gustafson

Kim Kardashian and Jay Leno seem an unlikely pair, and yet, the two get on famously. During yesterday’s touching Leno send off, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star honored her late night bud by participating in a Sound of Music parody.

Once again, fans find themselves bidding Jay Leno adieu. This time, we assume his departure will be permanent, but who knows? Either way, the late night host enjoyed a very memorable farewell last night. On set for the send off were some of his closest friends, including Oprah Winfrey, Carol Burnett, Jack Black and…Kim Kardashian?

Yes, Kim Kardashian joined in the fun. In fact, she was allowed to sing in a parody of the Sound of Music favorite So Long, Farewell. Her vocal abilities were, as we all expected, less than professional, but her bit was still amusing. The reality star wished Jay Leno all the best, quipping that, from now on, she’d no longer be the “butt of all [his] jokes.” To be fair, many of the other musical tributes were every bit as terrible, including one in which Chris Paul boasted about the Los Angeles Clippers.

Kim later posted a photo of the festivities to her Instagram page, along with the following caption: “What an amazing night! Honored to be a part of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on his last show with Sheryl Crow, Carol Burnett, Oprah, Jack Black, Chris Paul, Billy Crystal & Jim Parsons.”
