We’ve heard several shocking revelations from Farrah Abraham this last week, including confessions of multiple rapes last summer and major abuse during her childhood. Now, the Teen Mom star’s dad is speaking out — what does he think of his daughter’s allegations?
Earlier this week, Farrah Abraham surprised by confessing to a childhood of severe abuse, claiming that her parents “would beat me with a belt if I acted out. I had cuts, bruises, welts, swelling, and scars.” She also said that, during the heyday of her time in the adult entertainment industry, she’d been drugged and raped on multiple occasions. Thus far, the public has been skeptical, at best, with some claiming that the reality star is now telling outright lies in order to remain relevant.
Michael Abraham’s recent response to Farrah’s allegations was surprisingly low-key. In a recent Facebook post, the famous dad told his followers, “People that trash [Farrah] and our family don’t know the problems and pain Farrah and us have had to deal with…I pray for my daughter and every woman that has had to deal with such matters.”
Farrah has yet to respond to her father’s Facebook post. She did, however, make a point of thanking VH1′s Dr. Jen Bermann for all her help, tweeting, “I’m very blessed to have an amazing therapist in my life to help me through this regretfully hard time.”
Do you think Farrah Abraham is telling the truth about her alleged history of abuse? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it, so feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below!
