We are still seeing the fallout from NeNe Leake’s crazy pillow party on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Last night, it was Kandi Burruss’ turn to go berserk and she definitely did not disappoint. The reality star did eventually try to make amends…with mixed results.
If there’s anything we’ve learned from the recent PJ party debacle on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, it’s that reality stars, booze and judgmental sex conversation do not mix. At some point over the course of the last few episodes, nearly every cast member has wound up in a yelling match or, worse, getting physically violent.
Last night, it was Kandi Burruss’ turn to go bonkers. The reality star did not appreciate Natalie Williams’ implications that her boy toy Todd Tucker was an opportunist. Interesting, because we hear those exact same accusations all the time from Mama Joyce! Clearly frustrated by the continued hate for Todd, Kandi lashed out at Natalie. Somehow, this already tense confrontation got worse, with Cynthia Bailey trying to take Natalie’s side, and then, Cynthia’s husband and sister lending their support by pushing Todd.
Once things got physical (again!), Kandi snapped. She screamed “I am going to f*** you up” and, had she not been physically restrained, she probably would have done just that. Of course, in the aftermath of her crazy behavior, Kandi felt bad about how she’d acted, confessing, “I was worse than my mama…I feel embarrassed.”
What did you think of Kandi Burruss’ behavior on The Real Housewives of Atlanta? Was her apology genuine? Feel free to share your opinion in the comments section below!
