Kenya Moore Bothered By Kandi Burruss’ Pillow Party Behavior

February 13, 2014 08:00 AM by Stephanie Gustafson

The cast members from The Real Housewives of Atlanta are still super upset about all the drama that went down at NeNe Leakes’ infamous pillow talk party. Most of the vitriol is aimed at Kenya Moore, although many feel NeNe fueled the fire by hosting the event in the first place. But Kenya argues that it’s not fair for Kandi Burruss to receive a free pass for her aggressive behavior.

Like the rest of us, Kenya Moore was mighty uncomfortable when she watched the pajama-themed episodes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. In her latest Bravo blog, the reality star recalled watching Kandi “explode into a blackout rage stating she would ‘kill’ people and ‘drag them.’”

As you may recall, Kandi later apologized for her behavior, and all was forgiven. But Kenya doesn’t think the reality star should have received such an easy pass. “My issue is not with Kandi’s fit of anger, but with the acceptance of her behavior from the women.”

Kenya also thinks that the ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta should have held Apollo Nida accountable for his behavior. “During the aftermath of the melee, I watched each woman cavalierly recall the events as each laughed about what happened to Brandon and at their behavior, none acknowledging Apollo’s assault on Brandon.” According to Kenya, this is particularly problematic in light of how many of the women have suffered abuse in the past. She feels that they shouldn’t just laugh it off when violence — verbal or physical — is staring them in the face.

Kenya loves to keep mess and drama going. There was no reason for her to mention Kandi. Kandi has already proven to be a bigger person then ALL the ladies by acknowledging her behavior, taking responsibility for it appologizing and moving forward something Kenya does NOT know how to do hence she keeps bring up the mess with Pheadra. Kenya needs to grow up and get a real life

I don’t think Kenya needs to forget about Brandon getting best by Apollo. Yes, she should apologize about getting out her seat. But this was planned, and therefore, Apollo should be accountable for his actions.. I would sue. This is totally ridiculous and should not be tolerate by any of the producers.. See how money means more than your dignity .. No shame in their game..and to Kandi, be careful of Cynitha she’s trouble , just like Nene. Am older and see farther ..Good luck to Kenya..

These ladies are supposed to be professionals, but get out national television and talk and act like they are the lowest things on earth. They are beautiful black women but allowing the devil to steal their joy. Money, fame, clothes soon all of that will fade away, but the characters they play will come back and haunt them. Don’t let money control you and cause you to bust hell wide open. Each one of you ladies are special in your own ways stop competing with each other and start helping one another. Comparing who got the biggest ass one day that big ass will be hanging down and you will be trying to lift it and can’t. Booty is not brains.

Kenya did the right thing no one should ever put hands on you. She should krama take it course. Nene is just an uneducated loud mouth and will lie to save her butt. Bully and can’t fear Kenya. So sick of Nene big ugly mouth. (Get some class already). Kim didn’t allow it and don’t forget how she treated Kim. Kandi apologized shows she has always showed class. Cynthia would no longer be trusted and her sister needs to apologize to Kandi. Peter need to take a seat who made him a RHOA? Cynthia needs to be in his face and get respect and her $$$ back. Apollo, Peter and Nene needs to apologize and sit down. Nene throw the
stones. Success is not in her DNA. Stupid and ignorant is.

As a woman we should know our place and our strength and we should not be starting ANYTHING that would drag our men into a physical altercation.
Now… that guy Chris was looking for a fight. Who stands up to address someone civilly and starts out by saying “I don’t know what kind of medication you on”… who does that? Someone should have stood up for Kenya right there.
Kenya shouldn’t have gotten up but that dude Chris did “snatch her arm” like a pimp.
Thats where it started. Chris started the whole damn thing!
On the Kandi front… Did anybody else see Todd push Peter? Why isn’t anyone talking about that? Todd pushed Peter, Malorie pushed Todd then Kandi… then It was on.

I think Kenya started the whole fight from the beginning by even bringing up the whole situation at the winery. Then she got up to act as if she was a big bad wolf when they were at the pajama party, charging across the floor for no reason. She should have stayed in her seat and Chris should have to…But I also think that everybody if forgetting when Kenya pulled Nene’s ear at the begging of the season..” I think she brings violence to the show, “Nothing like that has ever happened on this show.” Everybody’s trying to blame Nene for what happened saying she should have not asked the question, she should have not had the pillow party. Clearly Kenya started when she accused Chris of saying his wife was common law when the ladies went to the winery…

Kenya and Cynthia do not belong with this group of women. If they were in the right setting these two women who are naturally kind and decent(Cnynthia) and smart and strong(Kenya) would really shine. Unfortunately for Kenya she is in a hostile environment and her survival skills sometimes portray her in a negative light. But give this woman a good man and some good authentic girfriends and she would soar higher than Oprah. That’s how I see her.

I can’t believe some of the comments I read on this forum, Kenya did nothing wrong, she had every right to stand (Christopher was standing) and address the person that was accusing her of lying when she wasn’t, in a recent interview which I viewed myself, when asked was he married, he answered no, so instead of Natalie being angry at Kenya, she should be angry at her husband/boyfriend who probably did tell Kenya at the time he wasn’t married. CW is a coward, had a more physically challenging man been with Kenya, Christopher would have NEVER gotten off his seat and why didn’t the men check CW for putting his hands on a woman instead of attacking Brandon for coming to her defense, Peter (papa antique looking smurf) held him down by his neck and Apollo was beating him, now who really look like punks. Brandon was regarded as the weaker man in the group because he was gay but that proved to be wrong, he showed he was more man than any of those so-called men in the group. Kenya was correct in pointing out Kandi’s free pass for her behavior and Kenya was crucified for something she didn’t start, they all pointed the finger at her and Nene was the one who started it all with those probing questions knowing very well they would cause problems.

Bonita, I saw the same thing…Todd didn’t need to push Peter but when you get ego, testosterone and alcohol mixed together it is going left. Kenya is very messy but actually Nee Née should’ve demanded Chris to sit but she did ask him but his wife egged it on. Basically Chris and Kenya have issues from way back…and medication is clearly an issue. Walter asked Kenya if she had taken her meds when they were on vacation if anyone recalls, so there is something there but Kenya is thirsty and wants what the ladies have. She is super insecure and eager to jump on others shortcomings but when it comes to her she can’t take it. There’s a reason why such an educated, physically attractive woman is single…you can’t make a whore a housewife, not even Andy Cohen can pull that off.
