Brandi Glanville lives most of her life behind the cameras, so it’s not all that surprising that she would decide to let the world in on her private legal matters, too. After a week of bickering with ex-hubby Eddie Cibrian over circumstances surrounding child support for their kids, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star posted some legal letters on social media yesterday to back up her side of the argument. Except guess what? Brandi’s letters don’t really prove anything at all!
Let’s back up a minute and break down what happened BEFORE her unveiling of the legal docs. Earlier this week, the 41-year old mom of two started a major war with Eddie when she announced on Twitter that he was now requesting child support from her. Eddie vehemently denied that was true, calling it a “preposterous lie.”
Sources close to the situation say that what really happened was the Eddie overpaid Brandi for child support during their divorce – to the tune of $114,738! Those same insiders also claim that what Eddie really wants is to be paid back that money, NOT be paid child support like Brandi is claiming.
Yesterday, however, Brandi posted legal documents online that she said proved that she didn’t owe Eddie any money, and that she had already reimbursed him for the amount he overpaid. “@radaronline eddie got paid back 4any of my personal expenses during the end of our marriage. #checkurfact,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star tweeted yesterday, after Radar ran a story about her wild spending habits at the end of her marriage. Along with the tweet, Brandi included a picture of a letter she said proves she paid the money back – except the letter doesn’t really say anything beyond “It is the beyond the scope of my services to verify these figures.” Then, she (somewhat inexplicably) posted a letter outlining her agreement with her divorce attorneys for representation.
Okay, now I’m just confused. What is she doing? Neither of those documents proved anything, except that she has no reservations about sharing the most private details of her life (which, granted, we already knew) and she’s willing to provoke her ex any chance she gets.
So what do you think is going on here? Why is Brandi Glanville suddenly bringing up child support and other things related to her divorce from Eddie Cibrian? Tell us in the comments or head over to Facebook to share your ideas!
