Uh oh, looks like Apollo Nida isn’t the only Real Housewives of Atlanta star with legal troubles. Now the focus is on Cynthia Bailey’s husband Peter Thomas, who allegedly owes tens of thousands of dollars in unpaid rent and late fees – and his landlord is ready to collect!

While many RHOA fans are busy sounding off on Twitter about the legal drama surrounding Apollo Nida, there’s a new issue unfolding, and this time Peter Thomas is the one under fire. RadarOnline has learned that Cynthia Bailey’s man is being sued for around $100,000 – which is the amount his landlord says is owed.

The landlord, Eloshua Elliot, is the owner of the property where Peter’s lounge, Bar One, is located. According to court documents filed by Elliott, Peter “breached a lease agreement by failing to pay rent and other fees including late fees, bank charges, real estate property taxes and unpaid utilities.” The rent, which amounts to $10,000 a month, has reportedly not been paid since March 2013, along with roughly $5,000 in late fees.

But wait, there’s more. The property that houses wife Cynthia’s modeling and talent agency – which is often shown on The Real Housewives of Atlanta – is also being scrutinized, as Elliott claims that the couple is more than $29,000 behind on rent for that space. Sheesh people! You got the skills to pay the bills, so do it! That’s the consensus on Facebook, anyway.

While landlord Elliott is busy moving forward with the lawsuit, Peter says that it’s all a big misunderstanding. “I’ve been caught in the middle of the crossfire,” he told Access Atlanta blog. “I don’t owe them anything.” Unfortunately, it’s kind of hard to have total faith in a guy that’s had rental issues in the past. While getting the deets on this story, Radar also discovered that Peter had a run-in with a previous landlord in 2010, when he was evicted from the property.

So what do you think about Peter Thomas’ and Cynthia Bailey’s brewing legal troubles? Do you think they’re behind on rent, or is it all a misunderstanding like Peter says? Tell us in the comments!

These pseudo celebrities from “reality” TV are all the same, running up debts that they can’t pay, living a lifestyle that they can’t afford.
